Denise is a strategist, marketing & communications specialist and consultant by trade. She graduated from Academy of Art University in 2012 in advertising, cultural anthropology from University of California, Berkeley and King’s College London in Digital Culture and Society in 2022. She found her footing while working in a variety of companies such as The Lo & Behold Group (Singapore), Ogilvy & Mather (Singapore), Hypebeast (Los Angeles), Highsnobiety (New York) and more.
Her working experience spans a wide variety of clients on opposing ends of the spectrum, ranging from corporate Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to young and upcoming startups. She is currently advising early-stage brands and emerging artists, and runs Bro is for Broccoli creative studio by day.
In her spare time, she hikes trails off the Californian coast or the Kamikochi-Hotaka Circuit, dyes her own textiles, and takes photos with her beloved Yashica T-3 camera, Fuji xe-4 and trusty iPhone. She is an advocate for solo travel, reading for adults and the school lunch program reform.
